I find that the volume of the Tones (for alerting me of low batteries, proximity points, etc) is very low (compared to my old Map60Cx). Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just my unit?.
Would appreciate some info on this. Thanks.

i just tested them and the volume of the tones on a Garmin GPSMap 60csx are about twice as loud as the Garmin GPSMap 62S. I think it is common with all GPSMap 62S and is not just yours.

Thanks for following up on this Jordan. I just hope that Garmin can do something about this. To me, the tones are very important, and they should be heard clearly.

Unfortunately I think that is all hardware and it is limited to the volume you currently hear. Please pass your feedback onto Garmin also for if it is software adjustable they may be able to do that for everyone.
