Is there a way to turn off viewing Geocaching points?

I have the Montana 600 and have loaded hundreds of grocaching points onto the unit. While I want to keep these on the unit, I have not been able to find a way to turn them all on or off in the map view. When I want to use the GPS for regular navigation I don`t want all these hundreds of symbol locations cluttering up the map view. Surely there must be a way to turn these off without having to delete them and re-load them if I want to do geocaching.

Which version of software is the Montana currently running?
The latest version is 3.60 which has had a few geocaching bugs fixed with it.

The latest software can be loaded using the Garmin WebUpdater free from Garmin.

Also changing the profile to a different profile will change the display.

You may also want to call Garmin Support for assistance.

I am already running software Ver 3.68 Also changing a profile has no effect on enabling or disabling the display of user waypoints or geocache location symbols. Garmin Support provided me with a way to turn off all waypoints (including geocaches) from the map display. To disable the display of geocaches on the map, choose the "Setup Map" option. Next choose "Advanced Setup". Next choose "Zoom Levels". Then choose "User Waypoints" and select the "Off" option and then none will be displayed. Alternatively you can choose a specific zoom level at which the waypoints will be displayed. I asked Garmin to provide a simple toggle on/off option for the geocache points.
