Hello,

I am curious, is the Oregon 450t a good choice for an avid snowmobiler? I sled frequently in the Canadian mountains and am in the market for a gps that will track my location and accommodate recreation in the mountains. Is there a particular gps that you recommend? It would also be nice if the gps could be used as well when I fish in northern Saskatchewan in the summer in rather remote locations.

Thank You,

Curtis

The Oregon 450T will work fine for use on a snowmobile.
Being a touch screen it may be a bit difficult to use the touch screen with heavy mitts on.
The GPSMAP 62s is also a popular GPS for snowmobile users as the button operation is a bit easier to use with mitts.
