Hi,
I travel a lot in Asia. I am not into hiking or trails but cities and towns.
I want to know if this product will be useful for me to find places, streets etc in Asia. Or if there is a better product out there which you can recommend. I have never used a GPS before, so please suggest me a good one for beginners. Not very expensive though :-)

Hello Hanif,

This unit will not be good for your use. It has no mapping capabilities. What you need is a unit that uses memory cards and is compatible with Garmin Mapping. I recommend the GPSMap 60CSX or Oregon 450. The Oregon 450 will give you the ability to make your own custom maps.
