How to get repair for the GPSMAP 76 for vertical line on screen?

The first few years i owned this gps map 76 it worked fine now it is getting a vertcal line on the screen and goes blank I have to remove the batteries and the power cord for it to return to normal Is there a solution or a fix for this it was real bad last time i used it and had a real hard time to get the screen back.Please let me know what to do or if it can be fixed by garmin.

sounds like the unit is broken. It is best to buy a new GPS unit. You can get the GPSMap 76 repaired or buy a new one for the same cost. Please feel free to also contact Garmin at 1-800-800-1020

My gps76 does the same thing vertical line
