Can someone maybe answer this question about the Etrex 20? Have been using it now for a couple months and am getting used to most of the features. However the last few times out while using it for geocaching the darn thing has me going in circles and when it finally settles down is putting from 75 to 100 feet off. I had much better luck with the Vista H for accuracy.

I know the fact that the person placing the geocache and his coords being off a bit and the fact about the signals not always being the same, however it just seems I am getting way more deviation with the 20. Any suggestions?

What are the settings in your GPS? Do you have WAAS enabled? Are you tracking both Glonass and GPS? Have you updated your unit recently? Have you contacted Garmin? (1-800-800-1020)

If there is a problem it will most likely be with the unit and not the GPS or Glonass constellation.

Have any of the satellite settings changed?
The accuracy is improved when using the GPS + Glonass and WAAS/EGNOS turn on.
Loading or reloading the latest system software using the Garmin WebUpdater as this can resolve most issues.
You may also want to contact Garmin Tech Support for assistance.
