Original question asked on Mar 30, 2012, 9:45pm
If I have the Canada topo and the city nav. on disc, will I be able to run both maps off the SD card at the same time or do I have to have one map on the units memory and the other on a SD card? I do realize I will have to pick what area I want to load as it wont all fit.

Thanks
Steve

It is best to load one map on internal and the other on memory card. You can load two maps onto a SD card if you rename files. You can find many tutorials online on how to do this.

Jordan,

You still have to rename the files even though they are 2 different maps? (ie)a topo and a city nav. map.
Thanks for the info
Steve

That is correct because if you do not one will overwrite the other

It comes with a world wide basemap. Please not a basemap has very little detail. You will need to buy maps with the unit.
