I was under the impression that Garmin stripped that feature out of the GPS units many years ago. According to the manual you need to make sure your interface settings are set the Garmin (Page 47 of the online manual). After that I could not find any more data. I took a unit off the shelf and I could not find the menu settings there either. At this time I would recommend that you call Garmin for direct assistance. 1-800-800-1020 If they are able to assist you please let us know. Make sure you have both units so that Garmin can walk you through the steps if it is still possible
