The 78sc has an internal buzzer but no audible alarms. How does this work as a marine GPS? If you are sailing and set the width of your highway will it buzz when you reach the edge.
Does it have man overboard or anchor drag?

Thanks

The GPSMap 78 has many audible alarms. You can do anchor drag, arrival alarms, off course, proximity and more.

The Alarm you mentioned is called Off Course and is in the GPSMap 78S.

MOB is activated by holding in the Find button.

To find the alarms you will need to go into the Marine settings in Setup.

Thanks for the quick response. What does it mean when the specs say there is no audible alarms if there? Are the specs wrong?
