I'm interested in buying a garmin but I'm having trouble deciding between the Montana 600 or the Oregon 550 or 450. In comparing them the features seam pretty similar except the screen size is bigger and brighter on the 600 and the lady will talk to you when using city nav. Are navigation menus simular other than that? Also as far as city navigation the 450 seems to have more features than the 550, is that true? Are there any other distinct features that will justify the extra 100 bucks?

The 550 has one more feature the 450 does not. The Oregon 550 has a camera. The Montana 650 would be the way to go to get all the features of the Oregon 550 in a large screen. The menus are similar but the larger screen is easier to ready. The voice out on the Montana series is good also. The Montana also can use a lithium rechargeable batteries or AA batteries.

Is the camera the only difference between the Montana 600 and the 650?

Correct, the Montana 650 has a camera while the Montana 600 does not, and that is the only difference.
