How do I transfer a track that I have archived to my computer so that I can view in Google Earth or similar mapping system?

All you need to do is download and use the free program Garmin Basecamp. It also comes with newer Topo software. When you plug the unit into the computer it will read the data from it. You then need to copy the tracks you want to save to a folder in Basecamp.
