I am going on an off road trip to Moab and Paiute, Utah in Sept. I would like your opinion on the Delorme PN60w verses the Garmin Montana 600. I don't have a lot of experience in these type
of GPS units but I like the features of both.
What are your thoughts.
Thank you.

The one benefit of the Delorme PN-60W is the SPOT integration. I find the Garmin maps and units much easier to use and you get better hardware. The Montana is great and has a large touch screen. The Garmin software has almost the same mapping options if not more than the Delorme for the USA. I would choose the Garmin Montana without hesitation.

A closer unit in comparison to the PN-60W would be the Garmin 62S for they both have button input and the screen sizes are closer. But still the Garmin products are better in my opinion.
