Can the rugged mount be easily changed between vehicles. I want to use the 650 on my bike in the summer and sled in the winter. Is the power cable permanantly attached to the rugged mount? Can you buy the rugged mount without the power cables? I want to mount it to both machines without having to buy 2 rugged mounts. I want to hard wire the power to each machine.

If you purchase the RAM mount base for the Garmin rugged holder you will be able to buy a second base for the other vehicle. However the rugged mount is wired so you will need to add a quick disconnect for moving between vehicles. Here is an option.
