Hello Adrian,

There is no need to put a Garmin GPSMap 60csx in a waterproof box. The unit is rugged and waterproof (IPX7) to start. I just use the Garden hose to spray mine off after playing in the mud. The 60CSX would fit in the RAM-HOL-AQ6 if you would like to try one.

Cheers
Jordan

I ask because I went riding the other weekend, and it got so muddy i couldn't read the screen.
I know it is rugged, but the water and dirt was trying it's best to get into the ports on the back.
My last atv trip I put a glad bag around it and taped it together. A little extra waterproofing can't hurt!!

Hello Adrian,

The GPSMap60CSx will fit into the RAM-HOL-AQ1U but would need a lot of extra padding.
Aqua Box 1 Internal Dimensions: 3.25 W x 8.25 H x 2.81 D inches

It would also fit into the RAM-HOL-AQ6U but would have to sit inside at a bit of an angle due to the size of the 60CSx and use less padding.
Aqua Box 6 Internal Dimensions: 4.0 W x 6.0 H x 1.75 D inches

Cheers,

When my 60Cx gets muddy I simply dunk it in a nearby stream to rinse it off.

Hello

There is no need to put a GPSMap 60csx into a waterproof container. We recommend a screen protector so that the screen stays easy to read over time.

cheers
