We have two Rino650 devices. One unit works perfectly fine,I am able to transer and back-up files with ease. However I am not able to back-up files from the second unit since it will not connect to the computer. When the Rino is connected via USB it does not show up under My Computer. In addition when I use the Map Source program it also shows a message which states that "no devices are connected". I have tried to change the settings, but to date that has not been successful. Please help :-) Thanks,

Will it work when you try an update using the free program Garmin Webupdater. Mapsource is not used much anymore. Have you tried Basecamp? It is a free program too and will use the maps already installed on your computer.

Also check the settings in the rino. Setup -> System -> Interface Make sure the rino that is not working is set to Garmin or the same setting as your working GPS.

It should be set to Garmin Serial but also try the other options to see if it helps.
