I want to know if the etrex 20 is compatible with my old mapping topo canada V2 that I am using with my GPSMAP276C? Will I be able to tranfert the track log from one gps to the other one with mapsource ( GDB files )?
I am considering buying a etrex 20 because it is smaller than my 276c.And it uses AA battery so never out of power. And it is not expensive too.But I need to have the two units compatible between them.
If it is a bad choice let me know...
That will be my Christmas gift to me from me !!
Thank you

The older maps and data are compatible. You will need to download Garmin Basecamp for properly transferring the data back and forth. You may also need to use the included software Mapinstall for installing the maps on the new eTrex. MapInstall will be able to transfer the odler maps from MapSource.
