Hello,I just got my Montana 650 and it is mounted on auto friction mount in my truck.My Montana is loaded with Vancouver Island BC,Backroad GPS Maps.
Can any one tell me how to use it ? I would like to drive my truck on a logging road and "drag a trail" on my map ,witch will need to be saved.Along that trail I'm planning to install marten boxes here and there and I need to mark those locations individually with some icon and also save it.Can that trail with my boxes location,be saved for later use ? Could you guide me step by step ?

To mark a waypoint you can use the 'Mark Waypoint' button in the menu. You can also touch your vehicle icon on the map screen to save a point.

Thank you Jordan,for your reply.I have watch those intro videos on Gpscity,and my problem is that they show tons of options what my Montana can do,but none of them tells you how to really use some of them to do at least some simple tasks .Is there any thing out there for dummies ? thanks.

Not that I am aware of. The best way is to play with the unit then look up the things you can not figure out. alwasy try it out on familiar territory so you don't get lost! You can also ask us specific questions.
