Does this device hold an unlimited number of any kind of geocaches, or only Opencaching.com geocaches?

Ambigious answer. How about this for a question - are unlimited caches dependant exclusively upon GGZ files or can the unlimited caches be in the form of multiple GPX files?

I think to be unlimited they will need to be .ggz files.

I infer from Jordan's last reply that either GC.com will be able to serve up GGZ files for your pocket queries, or that Basecamp will gain the ability to bundle other data formats into a GGZ.

My guess, consistent with the above, is that GGZ will be to Garmin what KMZ is to Google Earth - a zip file containing a variety of other data file types.

I talked to Garmin and the one rep I talk to said yes it must be in GGZ format in order to do unlimited geocaches. Like mentioned there will most likely be a tool in Basecamp to convert GPX to the proper format. I am sure over time other conversion programs will show up and support for the format will widen. GPX is good but it is very bloated.
