What do I have to do, in order for the Montana to acknowledge the installation of the card???

We would not recommend a 32GB card for that unit however the ones we tested work fine. We sell the Dane electronics memory cards. They will range from Class 4 to Class 10. I suggest a 16gb card or smaller for that GPS.

To see if you can get the card to work I suggest updating the firmware of your GPS unit using Garmin WebUpdater. Also make sure that your card is formatted. What data are you loading to the card? Maybe the information you are sending to it is not compatible.

Hello, Jordan... The card is now working. I am loading birdseye and learning how to install google into my montana 600. This unit is great!!! I'm old and couldn't see my Etrex screen any more, so I gave it to my much younger nephew. Have a great day! T
