My serial number starts with 2JN0XXXXX. How does this relate to the manufacturing date?? Month,year??

We do not have access to what each character means in the serial number string. However the whole SN will allow Garmin to identify when the unit was manufactured and other data about its product cycle. If you have any questions about the manufacturing of your GPS device feel free to contact Garmin directly for they will be able to answer your questions about that more precisely.
