Followed process for loading maps both north america and Canada topo. all loaded ok but on rebooting device I get a "can't unlock maps" warning on clicking ok all maps seem to have loaded and are functional

if I disable city navigator and enable can topo either version it works fine so Help?

How do I remove unwanted maps Flagged ** below and do I need both versions of the Can topo maps



Disabled-worldwide dem basemap
disabled topo canada v4.2
enabled city navigator 2013.1
disabled topo canada v4.4
disabled digital globe
disabled birdseye select switzerland**
disabled birdseye select eire**
disabled birdseye select france**
disabled birdseye select compass austria/east alps**
disabled usgs quads - grand canyon park**

One of the maps you have loaded sounds like it is not properly unlocked to the units SN. Maybe it was meant for a different unit or an error occurred when updating or unlocking the maps.

We can not rectify these types of issues. You will have to contact Garmin directly if a new unlock code is needed. 1-800-800-1020

The only maps that should be locked is the City Navigator maps. If you load only them and nothing else do you get the unlock error? Have the City Navigator maps been used on any other device?

Were the Birdseye maps purchased for the Montana 650TC or another unit?

I reloaded city navigator and all is now well.

the **'d items were already on the unit when I got it
