Hi, what i should change in the setting if we uee in Hong Kong or somewhere in Europe??

Hello OT,

GPS works anywhere in the world with no special settings needed. The only thing you may need to change is the units settings to reflect the local countries system used. That is found in the setup menu.

Hi, as 401 is able to connect to the laptop by using a mini USB, can it transfer data (way points) to laptop? or act as a GPS receiver??

Hello OT,
The GPS can transfer routes and waypoints from the GPS to a computer using USB, but cannot act as a receiver when connected to a laptop. The Foretrex 401 does not output NMEA data.
