Is there a case that accomadates extra batteries and accesories?

I am looking at getting the Oregon 550. Two questions first I need a good carrying case I m a geocacher I need room for spare batteries and small pins ect. I like the NiteIze Black Backbone Case Small but read it fits like a glove no room for anything eles so it is no good, any suggestions? Second the 550 is compatable with a heart rate monitior nice feature I think do you have to purchase the Garmin strap or will it work with my Polar strap I already own?

Hello Cartguy,
You will need the Garmin Heart Rate monitor to ensure compatibility with the oregon 550.
If you need a large case, we have a few options. The Niteize series is great.
