You can use the rugged mount and a RAM bike attachment on the bike.

No the cable does not come off the Garmin mount. RAM will have one come out later with no power cord

If the clip on the rugged mount is like the one on the dashboard mount for my Montana, I think I'd wait until RAM or someone else comes out with one specifically for bicycling. One good bump on a mountain bike trail and you could be picking up the pieces of your Montana.

RAM has announced a cradle for the Montana, which we hope to be seeing by the end of the month. Once that is available, I'd recommend these pieces for a bike mount:
