Does hard wired cradle recharge lithium battery, power the Montana, or _both_ when wired directly into a motorcycle system?

Thanks, M.

I have installed the mount on my motorcycle and at this point it seems it does nothing. It has no effect on the Montana at all. It is not charging or using it for power. All I get when I mount it is an audio volume slider, so I know it senses it's on the mount. I have 11 volts at the mount terminals so I know it is not a power issue. I plan to call Garmin after the holidays to troubleshoot.

Hello Magile,

The mount will power the unit and charge the lithium battery but not the AA batteries.

Mark - Have you checked the fuse on the cable to see why there is no power to your unit?
