I have an old GPSMap 76c, a TOPO Canada map set on CD's and a Mapsource City Select Europe V7. I download portions of the mapsets into the internal memory of the 76c. Will I be able to use my mapsets on a GPSMap 76cxs? ie can I download the map set data into a micro sc card.

You Europe map will be locked to your older model of GPS(76C). You can contact Garmin (1-800-800-1020) to see if they can provide you a second unlock code for your new GPS, most likely wont be free. In most cases you will need to purchase a new Europe map for the new Garmin GPSMap 76CSX. Purchasing a new map will be better for you will have more up to date information.

Topo Canada is not locked and can be downloaded to both of your personal GPS units. There is a new version of this also with updated information and special features like 3D for newer units like the Oregon.
