I'm interested in the 650 to replace my Oregon 550 but already have topo canada V4 and 2 nuvis with city navigator. is there a price deal with just the 650?

Also i want to run the 650 on an ATV ( using the mount offered to fit it) and power it with a cigarette lighter type source (this works great with the 550 i now have). is this possible with the 650 ie will the external power act to charge the rechargeable battery if i put that in , or bypass the 3 AAs if I use those instead?

The deal is only available on the Montana 650, and is only good until August 3 at noon!

The Rugged Mount with AMPS hole pattern can be used for power on the ATV, by attaching the bare wire cables directly to the power source, or by adding a cigarette lighter adapter end.

If you have AAA batteries in the GPS the power from the external cable will bypass the batteries entirely. If you have the Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery in, the power cord will charge the battery and provide power to the unit.
