What can this flex arm be used with?

What can this flex arm be used with? I would like to attach it to a suction cup on one end and a slide mount on the other. Can this be done? No one on your tech line seems to know about this product.

Hello Tom,
The RAM-PF-585-12 is a metal rod that is heavy for its size. It is commonly used to mount cell phones, GPS, and other electronics to the floor of you vehicle using the RAMB232 Series attachments. It uses a 1/4" NPT thread.
If you type "NPT" into our search you will find some compatible RAM parts. I can not find a way to mount it to a suction cup and I think it would be too heavy.

If you would like a suction cup with a flexible arm here are some options.

all of the links come with the suction cup. why would you need to buy just the flex arm?

are there diamond mounts for suction cups to screw this flex arm into? i already have the suction cup.

The RAM-PF-585-12 is not compatible with suction cups.
