I am looking to mount a Gopro Hero2 to my motorcycle and will be using the tripod adapter w/b-ball and the 9mm mount w/b-ball. What would be better...the Plastic or the Aluminum ARM B-Sockets? What are the advantages, if any? Thanks!

I'm going to say that the aluminum mount will be able to be tightened down tighter therefore gripping the balls better giving you a more rigid mount. Using the GoPro I would think you would want the most rigid mount available to combat vibration and wind against the camera

Either the plastic or the aluminum will work the same. The difference is the plastic is lighter but you can not get a long arm in plastic. (I recommend staying away from the really light plastic arm RAP-B-201-1) I find it too weak.
