I want to mount a Sony GPS, model no. NV-U83T on my motorcycle, and what I want to know is if this Universal Cradle will fit my GPS or if there is a better option.

From the SONY site
Dimensions (Approx.) : 4.2 x 3.4 x 4.8 inches" (106 x 60 x 122 mm)

Cradle Dimensions
Height Range: 4 3/4'' - 6.25''
Width Range: 2.25'' - 3.25''

According to the SONY site your unit is too thick and wide. I don't think their information is accurate. Can you provide the real dimensions of your unit?

Also this is not a very secure holder for the bike. I would check out the RAM-HOL-AQ6. It is large but it wont drop your unit.
