Will the Sirius radio work being close to the antenna?

just bought a Sirius radio and am interested in RAM mounting and the RAM metal antenna plate. the antenna will be quite close to the receiver. will the radio still work OK?

That should not cause any issues. Just do not mount the Sirius antenna close to a radio antenna that transmits like a VHF or CB.
