I have an Oregon 450 and was wondering if I will be able to plan routes in Basecamp if I purchase the SD card version of these maps. If I go with the DVD, will the whole thing fit in the internal memory? Or can portions of it be sent to the unit from Basecamp? Thanks

You can do trip planning with either one. It is best to get the DVD so you can update in the future. You will need a 4Gb memory card also with the DVD

If I understand correctly, I can get the DVD, do my route planning on the computer and use the maps on my Oregon with a 4GB memory card?
