How to use the preloaded microSD card with adapter? , Susan, Toronto I have a Garmin 1350. I recently purchased from you the Garmin microSD City Navigator Europe NT 2012 Card with Adapter. The card is too large to be inserted into the card slot on the GSP. My laptop could read the card, so I dragged the 2 files on the card to my laptop, then connected laptop to the Garmin, with a blank micro card in the Garmin. I dragged the files from my laptop to drive f (which I assumed was the micro card, as f disappeared when I removed the card). It seemed to be working - took an hour to lead the files. When I disconnected Garmin from the laptop, and turned on, it said cannot unlock the maps. Can youplease tell me how I should load the maps onto the Garmin. Thank you!

The map purchased comes on a microSD card that is in a SD adapter.
The microSD card is removed by pulling it out of the SD adapter and then inserted into the microSD card slot of the GPS.
The files cannot be transferred to another microSD card as the map is locked to the microSD card that it is purchased on.

Thanks, but the slot on my GPS is physically too small for microSD card I purchased from GPS City. I did remove it from the adapter. Is there a smaller card available with Europe maps?

There is only one version of microSD. The card will fit in the nuvi 1350 once taken out of the adapter. You may be putting it in upside down and or you may need to flip it around. You may want to call for support if the card is still not fitting. 1-800-800-1020

Thanks, I will try it when I get home. (I am at work now.) I thought the adapter was the semi-transparent case that the card came in, but maybe what I thought was the whole card was actually the adapter with the smaller card inside?

That is correct. There is a smaller card (microSD) in the SD adapter.
