Is there any way to check that the microSD/SD card that I bought from gpscity actually works before I leave for Spain?
At this point, all I know is that it fits in the slot.

Hi Michelle,
Yes you can check 2 ways that the maps are functional on the card.

1)On the main page, touch your tools option in the bottom right corner. Select Settings - then Map - and at the bottom of this screen you should see an option Map Info. When you select this tab it will bring up all the maps that are loaded into the GPS.

2)On the main page, touch the Map icon. Using the "minus" icon, zoom out until you see all of North America. Then drag your finger across the map, applying moderate pressure. This will scroll over the map, drag until you see Europe. Once in Europe you can use the "plus" icon to zoom in on Spain. Once you're at a low enough zoom you can view all the detail on the map.
Thanks!
