Can these cards be moved from one garmin device to another or will the initialize themselves to the first one

Hello Larry,

The maps on the card can be moved from unit to unit without problem. You can not copy the maps to another card though because they are serial number keyed to the memory card. You can back up the data to your computer then copy it back to the same memory card, just in case the maps get accidentally deleted of the memory card in the future.
