I was wondering if the Nuvi 255W is compatible and if so where can I download the hebrew software from.

Hi Marla,

Yes the Nuvi 255W is compatible with this mapping software. The Hebrew software is not available by itself, it is included with this map.

But the 255W is not listed in the compatible products in https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=253&pID=72664#productTab
I have the same question as Marla for Nuvi 660 and 275T
Could you verify if its only the Hebrew lettering that is not compatible or can you realy download it to the Nuvi 2XX and 6XX series and that no giberish is displayed in non Nuvi 1XXX series?
The map supplier mapa http://www.mapa.co.il/ looks very reliable, but uses mostly Hebrew in their site.

Sorry about the last post (its now delted). You are correct the Israel software will only work with the newer 1XXX series and higher. This may change in the future. Please feel free to give Garmin feedback and let them know you would like your Nuvi to be compatible.
