Recently purchased an SD card with City Navigator N. Amer. 2013, version .30. I wanted to upgrade the maps on my computer with the latest version, seems like I can't do this from the SD card? What do I need to purchase to update my computer files for MapSource and BaseCamp? Thanks for your assistance in advance.

You have to purchase the City Navigator NT DVD or a unit with the maps preloaded. The SD cards are not up-datable.

I have purchased the lifetime update card for my unit and have updated the files on my GPS, how do I get the latest version of City Nav. on my computer?

When a compatible GPS is plugged into the computer Garmin Basecamp will read the maps from the internal memory of the unit.

You could also download a old copy of the lifetime map updater tool so you can save the maps to your hard drive. This tool is no longer supported. The link below may not be valid in the future.
