HI,
I own a garmin nuvi 350 and want to upgrade my maps.

Is the Garmin City Navigator North America Card compatible with my GPS and what is the procedure to do the upgrade. Is it as simple as to insert the card into the GPS unit or is it more complicated than this?

Hello Christian,

The memory cards are not an update for your unit. You will need the lifetime update. Here is a link http://www.gpscity.com/garmin-numaps-north-america-lifetime-updates.html

The update will come with instructions written on the back of the update card.

Cheers

Can the 350 read the new map from the card so I don't need the update if I have more than 1 unit

The newest firmware for the Garmin nuvi 350 allows this unit to accept up to 16GB cards, up from the previous limit of 2GB. As the new City Navigator North America and Europe cards both exceed the 2GB limit, the nuvi 350 can use both with the updated firmware.
