i recently purchased my gps in the states and it came pre-loaded w/ CN north america NT 2011.20 map pack. I tried using my free update but there was no maps of canada at garmins website. Just wondering if this card is compatible in my gps and if there is any more recent cards?

Hello Les,

If you purchased the unit in the USA it may not have Canada in it. In order to update Canada the maps have to be present. By adding the Canadian Card you will be getting Canadian maps for you unit. It will be plug and play. Please note that you will not be able to update the Canadian card in the future. Only maps internal to the unit can be updated.
