Although I purchased the 2012 version, the 2011 version arrived with a note saying that it would update during installation to the 2012 version. There was no such update during installation. How do I go about updating to the new 2012 version? Thanks.

When you register it with Garmin in your account you should have a update link beside the software in your registration list. Please let me know if you see that or not.

Thanks, Jordan, for your quick reply. I signed in to my Garmin account and the map updater indicated that there was an update to my eTrek's preloaded software called nuMaps Onetime City Navigator NT 2012. I did that, then when I refreshed my account page a download button for the City Navigator NT 2012 DVD was there as you said. I then noticed that the product code for the nuMaps update and the City Navigator DVD update was exactly the same. Opening up MapSource verified that the City Navigator 2012 software was indeed now loaded beside the 2011 version. A bit confusing, especially when there was no official registration page during installation (it obviously recognized my GPS device and automatically registered the software), but all seems fine in the end.
