I want to mount to the top of a medical cart and the ball mount looks too short. I need the mount to be mounted to be secured to the top of the med cart screwing down into the top. Then the iPad cradle to hold the cradle facing forward (perpendicular to the top of the med cart). I do not believe the ball mount will be tall enough for this type of configuration. Any other suggestions? something like the Peerless Universal Tablet Cradle - PTM400S (google it) would work but I like the ram mount better.

You can purchase a longer arm. You can also put multiple arms together. We have hundreds of options. You may want to call for assistance. Here are some parts to look at in the mean time.
