Can maps be printed in BaseCamp?

Why can't I print part of this map- plus the routes/tracks i've mapped using Basecamp? Basecamp tells me I don't have printing privileges? Why? can i buy vthe printing privileges?

In order to be able to print the map using Basecamp you have to buy the DVD version of the software. The SD card is made to be used mainly on the unit only. We have tested the print function with the DVD and it works fine but with the SD card it will not work

Thanks. Could i put the MicroSD card in the SD adapter and connect it directly to the computer ie not hook up the Garmin GPS unit and try to print that way using Basecamp?

Unfortunately, no. These maps cannot be saved on the computer to allow printing. To save maps on your computer and allow them to be printed you must purchase the DVD format.
