The Garmin site says my Zumo 550 can handle Topo Canada. GPS city doesn't list it as a compatible unit. Can I use it?

Topo is partial compatible with a Zumo GPS. Please note a zumo should never be used hiking. You will have to turn of the City maps in order to use topo. The maps will not view as nice as they would on a Garmin handheld.

Thanks Jordan,
I am riding a motorcycle off-road on gravel roads, logging roads and trails.
The maps with the Zumo are pretty limited to regular paved roads and some unpaved. Do you thing the topo map will give me more info for my type of travel?
Thank you
Jim

Yes they will give you alot of back country information. The better map for your use is the Backroads GPS map for BC. Other provinces are available also. Here is a link to the SD card for BC.
