I understand that this product has been replaced with MapCreate 7 but Lowrance's web site leads me to believe that Canadian content is not available in MapCreate 7. Is it possible to confirm this? If Canadian content does exist in MapCreate 7, is it possible to purchase the MapCreate 7 reader/writer combo through GPSCity.ca? If Canadian content does not exist in MapCreate 7, is it possible to somehow find a lead on remaining reader/writer combos of MapCreate 6? Perhaps Lowrance has a bundle or two hiding somewhere in a warehouse? I have a Brunton Atlas MNS.

Sorry we will not be able to assist because the Canadian maps for your unit are no longer available. You will need to buy the maps used. It has been many years since the product was discontinued. Sorry we can not help you with that product.

I would highly suggest an upgrade to a Garmin Handheld for use in Canada. Lowrance/Brunton are ok but you will have better mapping options and availability at this time with a Garmin.
