Cannot get maps to load on sd card

When I hook up my Garman Oregon 450 to base camp, base camp recognizes both the 450 and the SDcard. I am unable to upload maps directly to the SD car. I can however upload maps from base camp directly to the Oregon. I have tried to right click on the ST card and then click install maps but the window will not to come up that allows me to install those maps. This does work on directly on the 450.

because it works to the internal memory of the unit the card may be defective or not compatible. I would try a different card to see if that helps

Hi
When your computer reconise your device under (find device)you will see oregon 450,srol that you will see memory... that's your SD card If not change replaced and try again.

The old version of Map Install allowed a choice of where the map is to be installed, either internally or to the SD card.
