Does anyone know if this card shows the names of ponds, rivers, etc?

The Garmin Topo software for Canada will show the names of some rivers, lakes, and rivers. It will also have some older Road data included as a reference. The same data is found on the SD(micro) card and the DVD version of the Garmin Topo Canada Maps.

I know that it includes some rivers and lakes, my friend has the 276 garmin and his shows all the ponds and different places same as the paper topo map
Do you have this software? Is thier a version just for newfoundland and lab?
Can I purchase a DVD to make 5 sd cards?

You friend is most likely using Topo Canada. If he is not then you may want to ask him who made the custom maps for him. We do have the Canada Topo software on DVD and SD card. Here is the link to the DVD.

You can program you own cards to use in your personal Garmin GPS using the DVD.

Yes this microSD card is compatible with the Colorado 300, and will show the 3D shading on the GPS unit.
