Trying to understand the limitations if any of this mapping product with my Nuvi. Garmin website says only basic info is displayed but I've read elsewhere that a rep said website is outdated and this works well. This product has better minor road detail than the free maps available for AZ so even if say contour lines were missing but I still had roads and trails it would be useful. This software has 3d features when used with an Oregon but this new nuvi has 3d rendering as well, are they compatible though?

I think Garmin notes limitations because the Nuvi series is not made for those maps and the view may change in future updates. Currently the maps look alright in the unit. The Contour lines will wrap around mountains.

** We do not recommend this unit for outdoor activities such as hiking. For hiking it is highly recommended to get a suitable outdoor handheld.

Cheers
