I just received the garmin 24k topo west from you today. I installed it in my computer it only shows basic map only. what am I doing wrong?

Hello Martin,

There may be many reasons why it wont show. Do you have the map selected in Basecamp? Are you using Basecamp or trying to use an older map source install? Have you tried re-installing? When you install did you do a complete install or partial?

For tech assistance it is best to call 1-800-800-1020 while sitting at your computer. That way you can be asked specific questions to help trouble shoot the problem. ** Also there is a second program called Mapinstall for sending the maps to the GPS unit.

I found the problem. I had the gps set to base maps only.
