Hi, I am thinking of purchasing a 60CSx and am new to the GPS world. If this GPS does not have the ability to load the entire country onto the unit I take it you can somehow select a certain portion of the country...say all of Ontario and Quebec, and load that onto a SD card and then head out??? Thanks for your help

Hello SJC,

You are correct. You can choose small areas to fit into your GPS unit. The max map size is 4Gb. That is good for two to three provinces.

Please tell me how I do this with my MAP 62S. I have the Topo Canada DVD and an 8GB SD card in my GPS. I can't figure out how to put the topos on the unit. Can it be done?

I just figured it out. It is hidden though and I could find no directions. Might be something you want to post or do a video for.

Ya i would like to know how to transfer small portions of the topo map to my gps as well. hints anyone?

Ok, I figured it out. I had to reboot the computer and it showed up in the program bar. (mapinstall program) I also scanned the dvd and found the tutorial file.
