Hi, you might want to make sure it's clear on your site that there are additional charges to actually make this item usable (i.e. spot subscription charges and fees for certain services). It may seem obvious to you but not to the average person. Perhaps you could list the current subscription fee as well as the addt'l fees required to use the features you describe (such as tracking online, sending custom messages, etc.)

Hey Dude,
We've just updated our SPOT connect page to show the different rates applicable to the SPOT service.
Thanks for bringing that to our attention!

New SPOT Connect and Delorme Earthmate PN-60w with SPOT Communicator users get a free trial (5 messages) of Type & Send when the Basic Plan is activated. You can remain on an a la carte plan and pay as you use. You will be charged 50 cents per message.

By purchasing a bundle you get a better per message rate.

* 500 Message Bundle for $49.99
* 100 Message Bundle for $29.99

Cheers

The Delorme PN,-60W with SPOT bundle is no longer available. Delorme now offers the inReach system which is comparable to the previous PN-60W bundle.
